Receiving new fish is one of the best feelings ever!
Hillstream Kingdom LLC recommends this acclimation protocol for new fish:
- Float unopened fish bags in your aquarium for 10 minutes with dimmed lights
to match water temperature. - After 10 minutes, open the bag over your aquarium and pour in the contents, including the stamp-sized POLY-FILTER squares. The fish are shipped in sterile water with pads to absorb ammonia and impurities.
- Leave the lights dimmed on your aquarium for 30 minutes to 4 hours to let the fish rest after their day-long journey.
- Optionally, you may attempt feeding the new fish before bedtime (if they seem
unstressed).

D.O.A. POLICY: While you have received our Terms and Conditions, remember that aquarium fish are live, perishable goods. In the rare event that your fish perish during transit, please email hillstreamkingdom@gmail.com immediately with photos of the deceased fish inside their shipping bag within 4 hours of delivery. A refund or livestock replacement will be arranged later.
